First meeting of BOOM debate club!

As we know, on the 11th of July started the new project BOOM (Battle of open minds). The format of the club is rather like the discussions of the two teams than the debates, the rules are not severe, the important criterion is to respect the opinion of the opponents, don’t interrupt, and, of course, to give the precise and interesting arguments. It was discussing the very actual topic “I see my future in Ukraine or abroad: the problems and perspectives”. Both teams expressed very interesting ideas but what was the most important is that the participants were so persuasive that it was difficult to determine what the part you would like to support.
The participants were giving the examples from their own life, speaking about the experience that they had gotten abroad like a tourist or a student. And, of course, it was accompanied by the jokes, laugh, interesting stories and friendly environment. And the most important is that after an hour and a half of the discussions the ideas of the participants were not running out and we even were discussing all pros and cons on the way home. So, if you’d like to practice in elocution, express your opinion and just have a good time, come to the next meeting of BOOM!
